German Lutheran theologian, Wittenberg University mathematician and professor of philosophy Aegidius Strauch‘s (1632–1682) book entitled Astrognosia synoptice et methodice ... contains star charts of 32 Zodiac and other constellations compiled on the basis of calculations made by Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe (1546–1601) with names of stars and coordinates of constellations in the text. In addition to these data the text contains sayings and poetic phrases related to certain constellations written by eminent authors of Antiquity and at that time.
