Vilnius University alumnus, mathematician and astronomer, Osvald Kryger‘s (ca 1598–1665) pupil Albert Dyblinski‘s (XVII c.) treatise Centuria astronomica, one of the best works on astronomy of that time, containing 100 questions on astronomy and their answers. Theses were based on M. Copernicus’s (1473–1543) and G. Galilei‘s (1564–1642) theories, solar and lunar eclipses and Venus and Mercury digression from the Sun are described as observed by the telescope of the author himself. It is presumed that Mars, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn rotate around the Sun. The Earth is not mentioned.
