VU Library mobile app has been updated with a new function – library users can now access their e-shelf and see loans, requested or saved items. Besides that, there will be a possibility to save results obtained when searching in the library catalogue in the user’s personal account.
We kindly remind you that by installing the app to your mobile devices you can easily search for and view the availability of library items, view your loaned items and extend active loans, request items, view current fines, receive reminders about expiring loans. Nevertheless, the app does not replace Virtual Library; when performing a search in the mobile app you will only see the items that are in the VU Library’s catalogue. Such search won’t cover databases and other informational resources.
The app will also inform the library users about the changes in the working hours of reading rooms, events and other news that have been published on the library’s website. You can set the option to get all these notifications straight to your smartphone.
VU Library mobile app is available both to Android and iOS software users. The app supports both Lithuanian and English languages.
It is enough to enter your login data once when registering.
