As part of the upgrades of the National Open Access Research Data Archive (MIDAS) carried out since March 2022, some improvements were made to the user environment.
The changes were made to improve collaboration between authors. From now on, as soon as one of the authors performs any actions on a research folder or leaves a comment, other users associated with that research project will get a notification. An icon will pop up next to the list of the user’s research folders and will show the number of new actions or comments made.
Moreover, a new selection appeared in the data objects menu allowing you to copy the link to the particular research project. You no longer need to tell your colleagues which exact research folder you are referring to. Instead, you can send them a link directing them to the specific folder.
In case the authors need to draft a data management plan for their research project housed in MIDAS, links to two data management drafting tools can be found below the left-side menu.
