VU Library constantly holds exhibitions, various events, conferences and meetings, where essential academic and cultural issues are being discussed, works of various public figures as well as documents kept in the Library are being presented to the public and significant jubilees are being marked. Photos of all these events are available on a new platform – Virtual Gallery at https://galerija.biblioteka.vu.lt/en.
Photos provided in the gallery cover the events that took place at the Library as many as ten years ago, since 2010. All photos are divided into three categories – Events, Exhibitions, Spaces – thus allowing easier search in a huge collection. For easier search you may use an Advanced Search option.
The Virtual Gallery will be constantly supplied with new photos from the Library spaces – users will find here interior and exterior photos of the historical halls of the Central Library, the Scholarly Communication and Information Centre (SCIC), which is situated in Saulėtekis, and other Library divisions.
