We inform you that a new functionality has been added to the Virtual Library – resource recommendation. From now on, after performing a simple or advanced search, at the top of the search results, you will see a recommendation of the databases that the system will suggest you according to the key words of your search enquiry. Resource recommendation indicates database titles, provides short descriptions and links to the databases themselves. If more than three recommendations are provided, the entire list can be seen by clicking on the link “Look through all suggested resources”.
These improvements have been made having in mind suggestions of students that were offered in the library services assessment survey LibQual.
We would like to remind you that information about all the databases subscribed to by Vilnius University, tools for information management, e-book collections, open access and tested resource recommendations can be found in the new VU Library database system: https://duomenu-bazes.biblioteka.vu.lt/en/.
