We are pleased to announce that additional study spaces are now available to the Library users at the Scholarly Communication and Information Centre (SCIC). In response to user needs, some SCIC premises have been recently designated for discussions, project and team activities, remote lectures, and group work.
Main changes:
- After changing the purpose of some seminar rooms in Block A, from now on, 3 additional group work rooms (in Communication, Law, and Economics reading rooms) are available for reservation in the reservation system. Group work rooms can be reserved here.
- 7 new chat rooms were arranged in Communication, Law, Economics, Business, Leisure, Technology and Physical Sciences reading rooms (in the former place of copy rooms and 3D laboratories). Chat rooms can be reserved here (duration of the reservation up to 2 hours, if the room is not occupied, no reservation is necessary).
- A new copy room with multifunctional devices has been set up on the first floor, next to the Conference Hall, for copying services. The Information Desk staff working nearby are always ready to help if you have any questions or issues related to the multifunctional devices.
