The SCIC of Vilnius University Library is a three-block building where it may be difficult to quickly find the necessary reading room, study room, or other location, especially for new users. To avoid confusion, we have implemented several updates to our information systems.
An interactive building map installed in the terminal, which can be found in the lobby next to the main Information Desk on the ground floor, helps you to get oriented. The touchscreen makes it easy and simple to find both the location you need and the way to get there.
If you are willing to study in the Library’s group work room or room for individual work, a table with information about their availability (available/unavailable study spaces, free reservation times) on the Information Desk and the SCIC Café screens is at your disposal.
Please note that you can reserve a study space in advance through the Study Spaces Booking system https://rezervacijos.biblioteka.vu.lt/en/ or with the help of librarians working at the Information Desk.
