As the Government refuses to honour its promise to allocate additional funds for raising salaries for professors, researchers and non-academic staff from the 1st of January, Vilnius University has announced its decision to temporarily stop its activities.
On 5th and 6th of December Vilnius University Library (the Central Library and the Scholarly Communication and Information Centre) will be closed. On 7th of December Vilnius University Library (the Central Library and the Scholarly Communication and Information Centre) will open at 9 a.m.
