On 19 January 2022, at 4 p.m., in the White Hall (Universiteto str. 3, 4th floor), Vilnius University Library, in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute, will be launching an exhibition of illustrations by the Italian artist Amos Nattini “Dazzling Inferno”.
The exhibition will show the illustrations from a copy of Dante’s “Inferno” that was donated by the artis Amos Nattini (1892-1985) himself to the than Deputy of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dino Grandi. For a long time, the document was forgotten until it was recently discovered in the holdings of the Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ministry’s library.
The exhibition will be on display from 19 January 2022 to 3 February.
