Vilnius University Library is one of the 15 partners of the EODOPEN project which aims to digitize 15,000 books in 11 European countries. The participating libraries will mostly focus on books from 20^th and 21^st centuries that have been difficult or impossible to access due to copyright restrictions. By means of specifying the copyrights of the authors and applying for permissions needed for digitising their works, the libraries work together to open up hidden knowledge.
