From 19 May you may return books in a non-contact way using self-service machines at Vilnius University Library’s Scholarly Communication and Information Centre, Central Library, and Medicine and Geosciences Reading Room.

thought catalog o0Qqw21 0NI unsplashThere will be a possibility to leave books in designated places on the premises of reading rooms of other faculties as well. On your arrival to the reading room, librarians will instruct you where to leave books. Please note that the returned books will be kept in quarantine, therefore confirmation of the return will appear in your account only after a few days

If you have the possibility to return books that are not needed to you any more, we kindly ask you to do that as other users might need them. If you don’t have the possibility to do so, do not worry about that. Fines will not be incurred and you will be able to return books in the first week of the new academic year.

If you belong to the risk group, we would recommend you to keep the borrowed books and return them only after the quarantine period is over

When returning books with self-service machines, please keep two-metre distance from others for safety, wearprotective mask that covers your nose and mouth, and observe the hygiene rules established for the quarantine period.

Books can be returned on Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
