A graduate is considered cleared by the library when he/she:
- Has no outstanding fines (fines not exceeding 2 € are automatically cancelled). Please note that fines are not incurred during the quarantine, therefore it is necessary to pay only the fines that were incurred before the quarantine;
- Has returned all borrowed books;
- Has returned all borrowed library’s devices (headphones, charging cables for mobile devices, keys from lockers and rooms for individual work).
Such students are automatically marked as cleared in the system and they don't need to go anywhere else.
According to the procedure of VU graduates’ clearance, the fact of clearance will be marked in the system by a subject librarian of your faculty at least five working days prior to the date set for the graduation ceremony.
You may return borrowed books to all divisions of the library. At the same time you can pay your fines in the Central Library, Scholarly Communication and Information Centre (SCIC), Šiauliai Academy Information Centre and Medicine and Geosciences Reading Room. If you cannot come to the library, please contact your subject librarian on the possibility to pay your fines online.
