Everyone using the multi-function devices in the Library will soon surely notice the updates to printing and scanning services – the devices of the Library have been upgraded with the new PaperCut software.
FASTER LOGIN
From now on users can log in to multi-function devices via three different methods – by putting their user card to the card reader, by using their Single Sign On username and password (the same used for logging in to the library computers) or by entering the ID number.
EASIER PAYMENT
Users that wish to copy or print documents, from now on can top up their virtual account with any amount of credit (minimum €0.20) in the Information Desks of the SCIC or Central Library, or the Medicine Reading Room.

PRINTING MANAGEMENT ACCOUNT
After logging in to their printing management account at print.vu.lt, the users will be able to see their credit balance, transaction and printing history, create an ID number, transfer credit from their account to other users and manage other functions of the printing service. A new function – Web Print – which allows uploading documents to the portal print.vu.lt and printing papers not only from the library computers, but also from personal computers or mobile devices (currently limited to PDF and image documents), was implemented as well.
